"Why So Blue, Bob?" -- Susie Fogelson Calls Tuschman Out On His Monochromatic Wardrobe
Even though I'm sad that Susie Fogelson won't be back vlogging this year after each episode of The Next Food Network Star, I'm excited to see she filmed an episode of The FN Dish recently that covered her process of picking out all the outfits she needed for the show's run.
And while it was interesting to see all that goes into deciding Susie's wardrobe, it was her revelation that she avoids blue because Bob Tuschman has worn a blue shirt in every episode that really got me thinking. Is that for real?!
Let's look back:
Okay, she's right. That's a lot of blue, Bob! Unlike Food Network's constantly changing Saturday morning lineup, when it comes to clothes, it appears that Bob prefers to pick a format and stick with it.
But maybe season 5 can be dubbed beyond blue for Bob. Here are a few suggestions to jazz up Bobby T's wardrobe:
Add an attention-getting scarf.
True, it almost cost Rachael Ray the Dunkin Donuts campaign... and lots of complaints filed in. But, like they say, there's no such thing as bad press.
Do what works for Simon Cowell. Stick with a tight black tee.
Oh, and if you have time to get those Robert Irvine arms, all the better.
Just two ideas, Bob! I'm sure Susie would appreciate it. Give her the chance to be blue, too! ;-)

seriously, dont even try humor. that was just..... embarrassing.
I thought this was pretty funny. I love Susie and Bob!
What the heck was this??????
Very funny! And proves what we all really know that Tushman has no imagination or vision.
Loved the Irvine steroid arms. Now that's a look!
Ha! Can you imagine Bob with Irvine arms? Truly hilarious. We noticed Bob wore blue all. the. time. last season. Too weird.
I wish to hell that Tuschman would faze out Paula Deen and her family on the Food Network and rid the airways of these buffoons !
I agree Anon 11:11! I can't watch her anymore.
Kelsey was on Aaron's show yesterday. What a sweet girl. They should develop a show for her. She's young. She fits the demographic....
Hey Jake,
Just read some some real unflattering comments from Tuschman regarding the current round of contestants on NFNS at that "other" site.
Jeez you would think Tuschwipe would know where his bread is buttered and not be so disparging towards the people who might just prolong his tenure at FN.
I think when Bob gets canned from FN he could always do local dinner theatre playing Star Trek or space aliens. He has that specific alien type look. Kind of Ferengi- Rene Auberjunois- ish .
Well, this one gave me a chuckle. Those Robert Irvine 'guns' make Bob's head look small in comparison.
BTW, nice to see a date stamp on the posts instead of just the time.
Nice cut and paste, Jacob. My kindeygardener coulda don better.
Blue, it's Brian Boitano's fave color and he loves Tischy in it.
I'm sure someone just told Bob that blue translates well on screen (it does). But so do purples and greens. C'mon Bob! live a little
Is Tuschman giving Brian Boitano the pipe ? Is that why ol Bri has a cooking show coming up?
Man this is just whack. Maybe Boitano should have competed on NFNS to see if he would be any good. I guess we all know the answer to that uh ?
What was the post of this post?
Me no like Brian Boitano or Bob Tuschman. They both bad men with no culinary expertise! Not my cup of (totally excellent-tasting) Bovril!
Me do like Tuschman because he only person at FN who give me interview .I like chicken hawks because I go the bathhouses with Bob and Bri and they might take me out to Fire Island to BBQ their weiners.
Me total suckup to anything FN, so keep that in mind. I really like figure skaters now. Might now have to be a disciple of figure skating Food show newbies.
You can call me sperm breath. All my friends do.
